The only difference between kits is the capacity and per-shear rate. All kits include the same shipping benefits and core features.

By purchasing a mail-in kit and sending your items, you authorize Bladehub to perform sharpening at the appropriate tier based on the number of shears received.
Once sharpening is complete, you'll be sent a secure checkout link to finalize payment. Your sharpened items ship out the next business day after payment is completed.
We do both. If any tools need repair, those fees will be itemized on your secure checkout link.
Most orders are completed in about 1–3 business days after your kit arrives, depending on workload and kit size.

Each prepaid return label is valid for up to 90 days from the date it’s created. If it expires before you ship, contact us for one free reissue. After 6 months of inactivity, please order a new kit to restart free-shipping benefits.
If your kit is damaged or lost, we can send a replacement kit—you’ll just cover the shipping to get the new kit to you. Your future return labels remain free as usual.
All kits include basic carrier insurance, and we photograph orders on arrival. If you need higher coverage, you can request additional insurance before shipping.
We can sharpen almost all professional grooming and stylist shears. If we see something unusual or risky, we’ll contact you before sharpening.
For professional turnaround, repairs are done automatically at our published repair tiers ($5 - $15). These are only performed when genuinely needed to return your tool to safe, correct working condition. No unnecessary repairs are ever added.
If we cannot safely repair a tool, we will return it unsharpened at no charge.

Yes. If you’d rather not order a Bladehub Mail-In Kit, you can ship your own box. You’ll be responsible for insurance, packing and paying shipping to us, and return shipping will be added to your invoice. You won’t receive a free kit or prepaid label for future orders with this option.

We strongly recommend the Bladehub Mail-In Kit for free shipping on future orders and built-in protection. But if you already have a box and want to ship it yourself, you can follow these steps.
Wrap each tool in soft material or bubble wrap, protect the tips, and fill empty space so nothing moves. Seal the box securely.
Place a note inside with your name, business name, return address, phone, email, tool count, and any special notes about your tools.
